Article Processing Charges (APC)

Article Processing Charges (APC)

The California Journal of Silicon Valley is open access and does not charge readers. To support peer review management, production, hosting, and long-term access, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge to authors of accepted articles.

  • Submission fee: none
  • Article Processing Charge: any charge will be announced on this page before it applies

The APC is payable only after a manuscript has been accepted following peer review. The ability to pay has no influence on editorial decisions.

Waiver Policy

The journal offers full or partial APC waivers to support equitable access to publication, including for:

  • Authors based in countries classified by the World Bank as low-income or lower-middle-income economies
  • Students and early-career researchers without funding
  • Authors demonstrating financial hardship

Waiver requests should be made at submission via Comments to the Editor or by contacting contact@americantechpublication.org. Waiver decisions are made independently of editorial decisions, and reviewers are not informed of waiver requests.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled case by case; please contact the Editorial Office.
