Corrections and Retractions Policy

The California Journal of Silicon Valley follows COPE guidance to keep the scholarly record accurate.

  • Correction (erratum/corrigendum): For errors that do not affect the article's conclusions. A linked correction notice is published, and the article may be updated with a note.
  • Expression of concern: Published while an investigation is ongoing or when the evidence is inconclusive.
  • Retraction: For unreliable findings, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other misconduct. The article remains online, clearly marked "Retracted", with a notice explaining the reason. Its DOI is kept.
  • Removal: Only in exceptional legal or safety cases. Metadata and a notice remain.
