Data Sharing

Data Sharing and Availability Policy

The California Journal of Silicon Valley encourages authors to make the data, code, and materials behind their findings available, consistent with ethical and legal limits.

  • Every research article should include a Data Availability Statement.
  • Deposit in a recognized repository (e.g., institutional, subject, or general-purpose) with a persistent identifier is preferred.
  • If data cannot be shared because of privacy, confidentiality, or commercial restrictions, explain why and describe how access may be requested.
  • Shared data and code should be cited in the reference list.
  • Personal data must be anonymized and handled in line with participant consent.
